Venn Group are supporting a family run business based in the Dewsbury area who have been in operation for over 100 years. They are looking for an experienced Office Assistant to come in an join them on an inital temporary basis with a view to the role becoming permanent for the right person.
This is a new role which will be varied so ideally we would be looking at someone who has been exposed to a range of duties. As well as proven, previous experience we require someone who can think on their feet, use their initiative, strong organisational skills and a good communicator.
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Handle customer calls - queries, product enquiries and complaints
- Process orders/delivery notes on to the system
- Invoice checking
- Answer and handle general office calls and distribute to relevant people
- Raise purchase orders
- Goods receipts/reconciliations
- General office admin such as; filing, postage, creating documents and general upkeep of the office
Working hours are 8am until 5.00pm with a 1pm finish on a Friday.
