About the role
Join us as an Apprentice at Morgan Stanley and work alongside industry experts gaining valuable on the job training, whilst working towards your qualification. Our Apprenticeship is all about giving you the foundations to kick start your career in a supportive environment, where you can make valuable contributions from the outset and develop both personally & professionally! This role sits within the Equity Research Division. We are looking to engage a versatile, charismatic, and adaptable Assistant who can hit the ground running and provide the highest level of support to our Business Unit Co-ordinator, management team and general support across the department. We're looking for a curious and driven Apprentice who is personable and eager to learn new things. An individual that thrives off interacting with others, is organised and likes to problem solve.
A typical day
- Be a welcoming and friendly face of the department when there are 'walk-ups’ and questions
- Assist with telephone cover for the management team
- Build relationships with Floor Support and Corporate Services
- Organisation and planning of department events
- Be the main point of contact for external visitors and support them with any assistance they may need
- Keep a list of all visitors expected and which room they have booked. To include external visitors and internal visitors from other regions
- Assist in the on-boarding of new joiners to the department by applying for access to systems
- Ensure new joiner setups are completed
- Be responsible for booking on-boarding meetings for all new joiners with key members of the department
- Log tickets for issues across the department, such as phones, headsets, simple desk moves
- GCSE English & Maths 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent
- Three A levels at grades A*-C (or 240 UCAS points or new tariff equivalent)
