About the role

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, quality and customer focused receptionist working within a fast paced office environment. You will be working within the Business Support Services Team, who provide excellent administrative support to our lawyers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Greeting clients, visitors, contractors and staff in line with Bevan Brittan standards
  • Answering phones in a prompt and professional manner, routing calls as necessary to the relevant person
  • Managing meeting room bookings in both internal client rooms and external venues
  • Ensuring meeting rooms are cleared and ready for the next meeting
  • Managing train ticket and taxi requests
  • Providing support to the facilities team
  • Supporting administrative tasks, including conflict searching and matter opening
  • Compiling electronic bundles for court and experts
  • General office administrative duties including copying, scanning etc.

The ideal candidate

The ideal applicant will possess the following skills:

  • Quality and customer service driven, with a concern for accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is essential. Ideally, this would be within a professional services environment
  • IT literate with a working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Able to work to deadlines and prioritise own workload effectively
  • Enthusiastic, pro-active and flexible. Willing to contribute and support others as part of a team
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Additionally, reprographics, courier and outgoing mail experience are also desirable skills as there may be times where you will be called upon to help the onsite reprographics team
