A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECEPTIONIST AT THE MET HOTEL, LEEDS
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, we are looking for someone to join the team, who will thrive in delivering exceptional first impressions - from everything from check ins and outs, inputting reservations, to dealing with customer queries or complaints and welcoming our guests to our hotel and City.
Each day is different, but you'll mostly be;
- Supporting in delivering memorable guest experiences and the warmest of welcomes
- Being the first point of contact for our guest, building great relationships and resolving any issues that may arise throughout their stay.
- Providing our guests with knowledge of the hotel facilities and the local area; including local attractions, restaurants, directions, and any other relevant information.
Our team are like a family, and we work together to deliver outstanding guest service to our guests by offering timely, efficient, knowledgeable, and truly remarkable service. We are an enthusiastic, authentic bunch of individuals who truly care about teamwork and great service!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We hire mostly on personality potential but here are a few of our requirements...
To succeed in the role of Receptionist you will need the following qualities and skills.
- Outstanding communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience within a 4* hotel
- A can-do attitude
- Computer literate with a professional telephone voice
- Good working knowledge of Opera operating system is desirable.
