Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a specialist media company with prestigious offices based in North Chesterfield. They are recruiting for an Operations Administrator to provide support to the Operations Team who ultimately manage the day-to-day scheduling of surveys, installs and service jobs for the field-based team of engineers and subcontractors.
You will assist with managing the processes, systems and task management that ensure the smooth running of all administrative systems. This will include:
- Answering the Operations Team telephone line – calls will be from engineers, Site Foremen and customers.
- Any problems engineers may encounter on site, if it’s something the Operations team cannot resolve, liaise with the relevant Project Manager
- Checking over previously attended jobs, ensuring engineers have called in and provided the team with updates
- Issuing relevant paperwork to engineers for both service and install jobs prior to attendance
- Checking courier tracking systems throughout the day ensuring equipment is delivered in time for the engineers scheduled visit
- Arranging access hire equipment for jobs where requested
- Use of the daily report to check equipment has been off hired on the correct date to ensure no further charges are made by the provider
- Arranging additional works where required for jobs, via the warehouse team and external contractors
This is a fantastic opportunity and would be well suited to someone with some admin experience and looking to take the next step.
You must have recent office based admin experience, be a confident communicator, have excellent attention to detail and sound IT skills (to include the use of MS Office).
