About the Role

As an Operations Associate at Skin Cupid, you are at the heart of ensuring the seamless flow of our day-to-day operations. We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented individual who is not just enthusiastic about skincare but is genuinely passionate about contributing to the beauty journey of our customers. In this role, you'll be an integral part of our lively team, working to create a delightful experience for our customers while supporting the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: maintain accurate, optimal inventory levels, ensuring product availability and minimising overstock.
• Logistics Coordination: negotiate and arrange freight services, managing shipments effectively and promptly.
• Customer Experience Collaboration: act as the bridge between the customer experience team and warehouse team to ensure efficient order processing and resolve customer inquiries promptly.
• Event and Promotion Support: collaborate with the purchasing and marketing team for events and promotional activities, to ensure adequate stock and smooth running of operations.
• Quality Assurance: regularly assess products to ensure compliance with UK/EU regulations.
• Operational Processes: develop, update, and maintain operational procedures and documentation.
• E-Commerce Platform Oversight: Manage the e-commerce platform, ensuring product listings and stock levels are accurate and current.
• Quality Assurance: work with brand partners to ensure all existing and future products comply with UK/EU regulatory requirements.
• Staff Management: assist in scheduling warehouse staff to ensure adequate coverage, taking into account promotional and peak periods. Taking part in hiring additional staff for the warehouse.
• Technical Proficiency: using and setting up various warehouse and inventory management systems, showcasing an ability to adapt to different technological tools essential for streamlining operations.
• Strategic Initiatives: support the Operations Director in strategic initiatives throughout the year.

We are looking for:

• 1-2 years of operations experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Driven and diligent – not afraid to roll up sleeves to help wherever required.
• A team player who embodies the Skin Cupid values.
• Technical competency (Computers), and is comfortable navigating and learning new software.
• Relishes the opportunity to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
