- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the business, 2nd and 3rd line teams ensuring a joined up three lines of defence model is operating effectively
- Monitoring of all mandatory training requirements to ensure Gallagher Specialty meet set targets
- Support as required the production of timely, quality and relevant reporting into Committees and other relevant management meetings
- Regularly reviewing and communicating changes to policies and procedures
- Driving continuous process improvement, updating of the control frameworks and undertaking root cause analysis and trend analysis of operational issues
- Promoting an effective internal control processes and risk culture across the division
- Support the business unit management with the application of policy frameworks
- Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business
- Scheduling and organizing meetings, and taking notes and minutes of team meetings
- Sending email reminders to business teams with proactive engagement with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met or appropriate escalation processes followed
- Undertake administration activities including diary management, and ad hoc travel and expenses
- Management of direct reports
Experience
- Demonstrates some understanding of the insurance industry and clarity why they want to pursue a career within Insurance or an operational based role
- Previous working experience desirable
