Job Description:
As an Operations Executive, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of financial services operations, all while maintaining the highest levels of compliance and client service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing daily operational tasks to ensure compliance with regulations like anti-money laundering, FATCA, FCA, and CASS rules.
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new clients within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintaining precise client data.
- Responsively addressing client inquiries via phone, email, and written communication, while liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide effective resolutions.
- Contributing to process improvements and participating in special projects to enhance service delivery.
- Cultivating a culture of quality to minimize errors and ensure exceptional service provision.
- Providing assistance and training to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
- Experience in financial services operations (preferred).
- A strong interest in financial services and investment management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and deadline-oriented work approach.
- Adaptability in managing shifting priorities.
Professional Qualifications and Education:
- Scottish Higher / GCSEs (or equivalent) at level C or above in relevant subjects.
- Relevant professional certifications such as the CISI Investment Operations Certificate (desirable but not mandatory).
