Our client, a successful British consumer brand who creates design-led products for leading retailers globally, is looking for a Operations & Logistics Coordinator to their team! They are a huge UK success story and have experienced substantial growth over the past few years. As a company, they are committed to sustainability and ethical practices, and as a result, they have a loyal customer base (both B2B and B2C) which is rapidly expanding.
They are looking for a proactive and deadline driven Operations & Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating shipments with both their global suppliers and their customers, ensuing the smooth running of deliveries throughout the business. Your role will include managing FOB & Ex works shipments, maintaining delivery information and reporting on performance, and working closely with the sales, buying, warehouse and finance teams to ensure swift an accurate delivery of products.

Duties and Responsibilities for this Operations & Logistics Coordinator role:
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers logistics team on FOB & Ex works shipments
- Receive and process stock for FOB & Ex works shipments
- Create and review relevant shipping paperwork required from customers
- Ensure shipping and storage charges are billed correctly and process invoices for shipments
- Maintain delivery information on internal systems and ensure they are kept up to date
- Create carton mark templates and ensure factories comply with customer shipping requirements
- Collaborate with the account managers and accounts department to address debit notes and contest
- Provide debit note analysis
- Track 3PL shipments to ensure they are delivered on time
- Provide reports on delivery performance/actions/mitigation measures
- Consolidate and communicate order requirements to buying team
- Support with order processing
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail, accurate & takes pride in their work
- Experience within a logistics, operations or supply chain role an benefit
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, is deadline driven and work wells under pressure
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Flexible, and a proactive problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude
