Position Overview: As an integral part of our company, the Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimising various aspects of our operations, from procurement and estimation to project management. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in these areas, driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

Buying:

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, optimising terms and agreements.
• Implement efficient inventory management practices.

Quantity Surveying/Estimation:

• Conduct accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimations for projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to refine estimates and ensure cost control.
• Keep an eye on industry trends and pricing.

Project Management:

• Lead project teams in planning, executing, and completing projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Identify and mitigate risks to achieve seamless project progression.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in buying, quantity surveying, estimation, and project management.
• Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes and cost estimation.
• Exceptional project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
