Operations Manager

First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking an Operations Manager for their client who are a Fabrication business based in Manchester.

As the Operations Manager in our client's fabrication business, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across all aspects of our manufacturing processes.

The Role:

• Lead and manage the production team to ensure timely and efficient completion of fabrication projects.
• Develop and implement production schedules to optimize workflow and meet customer deadlines.
• Monitor production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure all fabricated products meet company and industry specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.

Successful Candidate:

• Proven experience in operations management within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
