SalaryAn International Banking client is urgently seeking an Operations Officer to join a dynamic Operations Department. This role is crucial for the processing, confirmation, and settlement of treasury, GBP clearing, and treasury transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking operations and be adept at managing operational risks.
Role duties to include:
* Take ownership of processing daily trades, ensuring each transaction is completed accurately and efficiently in line with operational procedures
* Process correspondent banking/GBP clearing payments accurately and promptly
* Providing backup for tasks such as loan administration for syndicated and bilateral loans, trade finance transactions, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking operations, including Payments, Settlement, Trade Finance, and Treasury Operations
* Essential SWIFT handling experience (MT103 / 202 / Pacs 008/009/054)
