Operations Team Leader

Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are exclusively working with a growing manufacturing business based in Leeds in the search for an Operations Team Leader. My client is currently turning over c£20million which has doubled over the last few years and are continuing at looking at expanding at a similar rate.
My client is looking for a pro-active individual with experience managing a small warehouse team and the ability to provide accurate export documentation. This role will require excellent communication skills, a strong desire to positively contribute to the working environment and the ability to allocate time effectively. The successful incumbent will be expected to contribute to the wider roles and responsibilities of the business, effectively manage stock and co-ordinate transport and freight with the correct compliance.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Effectively booking transport and freight and keeping up-to-date records of import and export compliance to streamline the process.
• Managing two stores’ persons to help with the picking and packing of goods.
• Liaising with production teams to ensure you remain on top of the order book
• Being involved in wider roles and responsibilities, e.g. packaging goods, dealing with goods-in and maintaining an efficient working environment.

Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experiences:

• Experience working within a logistics, warehousing, supply chain or import/export FMCG environment.
• High level of customer service orientation with a passion for delivering a quality service
• Maths, English and IT literate – in particularly MS Excel
• The ability to work to tight deadlines, work to a high level of accuracy and have a pro-active attitude to work
