A public sector organisation based in Wakefield is seeking a determined, ambitious and diligent finance professional to join their core finance team.
Your new role
As the Accountant, you will be working within a wider team to ensure delivery of complex balance sheet reconciliations, year-end statutory accounts, financial statements and finance projects across the organisation. This role will sit alongside another part-qualified team member, involve the support and coaching of an assistant accountant and report into the Finance Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will:

• Be actively studying in a finance capacity (CIMA, ACCA, etc.)
• Have experience supporting statutory accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Be able to demonstrate your ability to build successful stakeholder relationships
• Be self-motivated and able to prioritise work
• Able to work within the office 2-3 days per week

What you'll get in return
This organisation is offering a competitive salary C £30,000 - £35,000, as well as a varied benefits package including above average annual leave entitlements, hybrid working, study support, progression & free on-site parking.
