An outstanding Accountancy Practice based in the Wickford area is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing regular bookkeeping services to clients, producing VAT returns and Management Accounts, and ensuring year-end files are prepared to a fully reconciled trial balance stage.
Day to Day of the Role:- Provide regular bookkeeping services to a diverse client base.
- Produce accurate VAT returns and Management Accounts.
- Prepare year-end files to a fully reconciled trial balance stage.
- Assist team members with bookkeeping queries and provide support when needed.
- Review bookkeeping and returns produced by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- AAT Level 4 qualification is ideal.
- Previous experience within an Accountancy Practice is essential.
- Proficiency in using Sage & Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
