Sellick Partnership are working closely with a London based authority to recruit to a Part-time Employment Lawyer position.
This role will be offered on locum basis for an initial period of 3 months, but likely to be longer term. The successful candidate will attend their London-based offices 1 day per week. The hourly rate on offer is between £40 - £55 umbrella per hour, dependent on experience.
Responsibilities of the Employment Lawyer:
- Providing legal advice across the authority on employment law matters
- Defending the authority against Employment Tribunal claims
The successful Employment Lawyer will ideally have experience within the public sector dealing with respondent work, however the client may consider someone from a private practice or in-house, private background.
This role will offer flexible working arrangements and a competitive hourly pay.
