Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing SME manufacturing business in their search for a Part time Management Accountant to come and work in their offices in Trafford Park.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for month end accounting
- Posting journals, accruals, prepayments etc.
- Management of the balance sheet
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
- Variance analysis
- Assist with the production of statutory accounts
- Assist with the payroll process
- Involvement in integration of acquisitions
- Look to improve processes, procedures and systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
