Job Title: Part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Maidstone
Salary: GBP13.50 (12 hours per week)
Hours: Monday-Wednesday - 10am-2pm

The role:
We are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk to work part time at a leading UK factory. This role is responsible overseeing our supplier transactions, ensuring that the correct procedure and process is carried out. You will be the main point of contact for our suppliers and will work to maintain professional relationships.
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk your key responsibilities would be:
- Track supplier accounts
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing details within the Purchase Ledger
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Reviewing invoices to ensure they are accurate and correctly formatted.
- Working with our Bookkeeper to create an efficient process for registering and making payments.
- Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries. Coordinating with our Bookkeeper to ensure our monthly results are delivered within reporting deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage Line 50 accounts program.
- Management of the Aged Creditors
- Completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Stay updated on accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance.
