Parts And Workshop Assistant

IBS Office Solutions Ltd provide tailor-made print/copy/scan solutions within the Education and Commercial Sector across the South of England and pride ourselves in enabling the streamlining of reprographic processes, cutting costs and wastage as part of our quality support package specialising in Sharp, Konica Minolta, Riso & Lexmark devices. In addition, we also supply stationery, audio visual and office furniture via our telemarketing team.

We are seeking a Parts and Workshop Assistant to join our lively and growing team based at our Henley on Thames Head Office. Candidate should be available to work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm based at our Henley on Thames head office.

Requirements;

• Strong IT skills in using Outlook, Excel and previous use of CRM systems would be advantageous
• Experience of Sharp, Konica Minolta, Lexmark & Riso would be advantageous but training will be provided by the manufacturers’ if required.
• Candidate should have positive outlook on life and good customer relations skills to work towards supporting our end user
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and logistics with the ability to be able to work autonomously and responsibly.
• Understanding of cost management for overall profitability of the department/company
• Proven ability to work as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
• Completion of Enhanced DBS

Main Responsibilities:-

• Receive all goods into warehouse whilst monitoring outgoing and incoming stock levels; machine consumables, Parts and toners and advising workshop manager/office team on orders to be placed and stock levels on weekly basis and set monthly stocktakes.
• Liaise with Workshop Manager/Support with regards to incoming "return to fit" parts with use of service and parts manuals.
• Assist Engineers with Car stock.
• Packing of consumables and parts ready for collection before courier shut off time.
• Build of new machines and refurbishment of machines – Confirming machine serial numbers and meter reads with Workshop manager. Heavy lifting involved in building machines.
• Refurbishment of fuser and transfer units.
• Lexmark, Riso and Sharp warranties.
• Unboxing of machines to PDI.
• General housekeeping; Organisation of rubbish. Recycle of packaging and skip hire.
• Undertake paper deliveries and installations when delivery driver is on annual leave.
