Daily Rate: £80 – £110 per day
Role to start immediately with opportunities for long term contracts.

Pastoral Support Worker Job Description:
Within this Pastoral Support role, you will work within a Wellbeing Zone, supporting students with their feelings and regulating their emotions. This is an exciting vacancy for someone who wants to make a difference to vulnerable learners, and promote the ethos of positive outcomes and aspirations for everybody. Your compassionate nature, patience, and dedication will help create a supportive learning environment where the pupils can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting children to reset their emotions and behaviours.
Provide one-one support to children experiencing difficulties with their emotions.
Support reengagement in learning.
Implement strategies and interventions to support the student’s individual needs.
Encourage independence and self-confidence in the students while fostering positive relationships and a sense of belonging within the school community.
Celebrating achievements and progress, no matter how small, to motivate and inspire the student to reach their goals.
Pastoral Support Worker Requirements:
Experience working with children with emotional/behaviour needs would be desirable, however we welcome candidates with a genuine passion to make a difference.
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students, staff, and parents/carers.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, with a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the student and the school environment.
A willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEND and behaviour needs.
