Payroll Administrator

Payroll Administrator The Role:

Working as part of a finance team and reporting to the Payroll Manager. Duties will include:

• Responsible for undertaking the administration of a monthly payroll, this will be increasing in the next 6 months due to TUPE of staff into the business.
• Applying all relevant pay additions including overtime, pay rises, etc.
• Responsible for accurate pension scheme administration.
• Liaising with the HR team to ensure payroll is updated in accordance with contract amendments and starters/leavers, etc.
• Supporting the payroll year end.
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies and queries.
• Acting as the finance liaison to administration and operations team members for all payroll and pensions queries.

Payroll Administrator The Rewards:

Salary: GBP 28,000pa to GBP30,000pa
Benefits: 26 days holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme, hybrid working
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Mon Fri
Office based: Mostly 'work from home' with days in the Exeter office as needed (approx. once per month)

Payroll Administrator The Person:

We are keen to hear from professionals with current payroll administration experience.

You ll be a first-rate communicator able to develop relationships with colleagues across the organisation.

A natural problem-solver with excellent attention to detail, you will also possess good IT skills.

You will be a self-starter with a positive approach and a desire to work in a fast-paced changing organisation.
