Alexander Daniels are recruiting for a Payroll Assistantfor a business based in Birmingham. This business offers a great work culture and the opportunity for the successful applicant to join a small team on a full-time basis or part time reduced hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating and inputting Weekly timesheets
- Recording Payroll data through SAGE
- Calculating overtime, salary and work pattern changes.
- Inputting New Starters and Leavers
- Processing payslips and P45's
- Following correct GDPR guidelines.
- Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters.
- Changing employee bank details, when necessary, to process payments accurately.
- Maintaining the Payroll general inbox.
- Processing SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP.
- Processing Pension Opt Out Forms.
- Assisting with Pension Auto-Enrol.
Essential Skills:
- All applicants must have a strong foundation in maths and general organisation skills.
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables.

- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
