Payroll Assistant / Birmingham (hybrid) / 3-months contract
Public sector client requires a Payroll Assistant to join their Finance team on a 3-month contract. You will provide support to the Payroll Manager and will undertake various financial administration tasks.
Essential skills/ experience include:
- Sound understanding of payroll and financial management.
- Foundation knowledge of PAYE, NI, and pensions would be beneficial.
- IT literate with knowledge of payroll/HR systems.
- Work experience in an administration/ office management/ clerical position.
- Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills.
This role is based in Birmingham city centre and is offering a flexible working mode. You will be required to be on-site 4 days per fortnight. In return, our client is offering a day rate of £210 (inside ir35).
