Page Personnel are seeking a successful Payroll Manager to join a well-known Accountancy Firm in Liverpool. The successful candidate will manage payroll processes, ensure compliance with regulation and deal with end-end payroll and escalation points whilst managing a team.

They are looking for a solid Payroll Manager to join their team in Liverpool on a full-time, permanent basis to look after team of payrollers. The successful person MUST have Payroll Bureau background. This role will be suitable for a Senior Advisor, Team Leader or Manager wanting to join a thriving and growing business.
Description
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Deputy Payroll Manager will:
- People management for the Payroll Team on a daily basis.
- Be a point of escalation for clients/complex issues.
- Support with training new hires and continuous support/development for team.
- Attend management meetings as and when needed
- Process multiple client payroll start to finish for complex payroll
- Manual calculating the payroll where needed
- Running the payslips
- Knowledge of PAYE/NI/other payroll deductions
- Processing of P45's, P60's
- RTI submissions
- Pension administration with various pension providers
- Auto-enrolment duties
- Dealing with client payroll queries via phone/email.
Profile
The successful Payroll Manager MUST:
- Have worked in a bureau environment as Senior or Management position
- CIPP qualified or working towards qualifications (desirable)
- Up to day payroll legislation knowledge
- Good organisation skills
- Able to work as part of a team and delegate tasks
