Payroll Manager / £65,000 - £70,000 / Wirral / Permanent
Adaptable Recruitment are working exclusively with a growing organisation based on the Wirral who are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team
Package:
- Salary £65,000 - £70,000
- Bonus scheme
- Car Allowance or Car
- 25days holiday plus BHs
Location: Wirral
Job Duties:
- Manage end to end payroll process to include, calculations, deductions, tax etc
- Manage, coach and develop the team of payroll clerk's, carrying out 1-2-1's etc
- Prioritise workload ensuring deadlines and KPI's are met within the group
- Oversee all deductions including, tax, NI, SSP etc, as well as year end duties.
- Work closely and communicate with internal departments such as HR to provide data & reports
- Ensure all HMRC submissions are met according to deadlines
- Utilise payroll software and systems to streamline processes and ensure accuracy
- Identify and implement areas of process improvement
Who will I report into?
This role will report directly into the Finance Director

Interview will be happening ASAP
Ideal experience?
- 5+ years experience managing a Payroll team
- Worked in a fast-paced environment with high volumes.
- Good Excel and systems skills
