Reed are working with a leading nationwide manufacturing business in Goldthorpe, who are looking to recruit a Full time Payroll Officer to join their team.
Remuneration:
- Salary £25,000 - £27,500 dependant on experience
- Hours per Week - 37
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Company Bonus Scheme up to 7.5%
- Hybrid working with 2 days working from home

As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing accurately and on time the weekly payrolls.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate processing of various weekly payrolls
- Ensuring processing deadlines are met centrally and regionally
- Checking exception reports and amending any errors
- Calculating overpayments
- Processing EYU’s
- SSP, SPP, SMP payments
- Amending pay rates, tax codes, bank details etc
- Dealing with queries from employees
- Completing enquiry forms from third parties
- Ensure compliance with statutory legislation
- Month end reporting and payments for various weekly payrolls
- Auto enrolment processes
- RTI reporting to HMRC
- Manual payments to employees where required
- Year End Processes
