Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Manchester (office based)
Salary: £30,000 plus 10% bonus
Contract: 12-month FTC
A Leading UK business is urgently seeking to hire a Payroll Specialist to join their small, in house payroll team.
The position is office based but offers flexible working hours and excellent benefits. In addition to the basic salary you will receive a 10% bonus and other benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the fortnightly, end to end payroll process, ensuring the accuracy of data entry.
* Reconcile all payroll information with the company's accounting systems and manage reports.
* Respond to enquiries from staff regarding all payroll matters and maintain employee records.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including PAYE, pensions, and other deductions.
* Identify areas of improvement in the payroll process and suggest solutions.
Technical Skills Required:
* Proven experience working with Payroll systems.
* Working knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Detail-oriented and organised.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
