Due to a number of internal promotions, 2024 is already looking extremely positive for this leading employer in the financial services and pensions sector, who are seeking an additional Pension Administration Manager. As an organisation they have grown consistently over the last couple of years in terms of new business acquisitions and new business wins and this year is looking no different.
As one of the new Pension Managers within their Pensions Administration division, your remit and responsibilities will be varied, where they will include:
- Supporting the set-up and transition of new schemes.
- Monitoring the performance of the team against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and taking steps to maintain high levels of service as required.
- Monitoring and managing team workloads.
- Managing the delivery of routine project work (such as annual pension increase exercises) as well as ad hoc projects (such as GMP reconciliations/equalisation) including liaison with consulting teams and/or our project support team.
- Overseeing the accurate delivery of high-quality work by the team.
- Reviewing reports prepared for Trustees and, when required, calculations for members.
- Supporting and training other less experienced administrators.
Possessing string experience of both DC & DB schemes (DB experience is essential for this role), you experience will ideally have been gained working already as a pension’s Administration Manager (or possessing extensive experience as a senior pension’s administrator) in a consultancy based environment that provides third party administration, together with experience of working in a client facing role.
