Applicants are invited to apply for the role of Deputy Radiotherapy Administration Manager.
The post holder will work closely with the Radiotherapy Admin Manager to provide efficient and effective operational management of the Radiotherapy Administration team ensuring that the patient pathway is correctly navigated and working effectively, supporting the provision of a high quality, patient-focused service and facilitate regular multi-team projects and ensure performance is monitored and reported.
The post holder will require excellent communication and organisational skills. They will be expected to liaise directly with patients and carer’s as well as a number of different professions, both within and external to the trust which will include Medical staff, Radiographers, Physics and Operational management.
The post holder will act as the deputy to the Radiotherapy Administration Manager, working closely to ensure the strategic vision of the department is met at an operational level.
The successful candidate will need to be willing to learn and accept challenges and change, able to work in a team and be flexible with regard to cross cover and working hours. You will contribute to maintaining our high standards of patient care, communication, privacy and a safe environment in compliance with the Trust policies and procedures. The Post holder will be rota’d to work mainly at Royal Surrey County Hospital but may be asked to travel between there and our East Surrey Hospital site.
Previous administrative experience would be an advantage but is not essential as comprehensive Trust and local induction/training is available.
