Job description

If you are passionate about Performance Development and want to make a difference in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you.
We are recruiting a Performance Development & Programmes Lead. The role reports to the Head of Leadership & Talent Development in the vibrant and impactful Talent & Organisational Development (TOD) team.
As a Performance Development & Programmes Lead, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of activities and initiatives that support the Performance Development of our employees. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, the wider People & OD directorate, and end-users to ensure that our Performance Development processes are effective, engaging, and aligned with our organisational goals.
You will be responsible for ensuring projects and programmes within the Leadership & Talent Development team are set up effectively, with the right governance, reporting and plans to support delivery of our priorities.
You will also be involved in evaluating the impact of our Performance Development initiatives and making recommendations for improvement.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
Need more help balancing your work and home life? Talk to us about what flexibility is available at the application or interview stage.

IT proficient, you’ll be skilled in MS Office and any experience of Workday would be beneficial. With excellent communication skills, you’ll be able to write engaging and effective change communications. You’ll be able analyse qualitative and quantitative data and make informed recommendations.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Project management experience
  • The ability to work across all levels of the organisation, building rapport and trust with diverse groups of people
  • A proactive and positive can do approach
  • Good facilitation and influencing skills
