Digital, Data, Analytics and Performance (DDAP) team in pipeline Project Management group is now seeking an experienced Performance Management Partner to lead the pipeline reporting engagement with the Development Leadership Team (DLT) and Pipeline Project Management leadership team (PPM LT).

This role will use a set of analytics tools and processes.

In this role you will

  • Partner with the leadership team to discover and define the analytics opportunities to drive business value for better decision making and planning. Define performance metrics of PPM, generate Insights on performance metrics of PPM against targets - performance benchmarking.
  • Identify opportunities for optimal delivery of R&D pipeline through data and insights. Leverage modern data visualization and analytics technologies. Act as go to person for the knowledge and foresight of pipeline reporting in R&D
  • Own monthly delivery of pipeline performance reporting and insights to DLT /PPM LT. (Pipeline status reporting, Internal and external Key events).
  • Lead Data Collation & collaboration for key inputs from Project management community, Resource Management and Finance for monthly cadence - insights communication. Activity will involve investigation and resolution of data gaps and inconsistencies in the reporting.
  • Represent the PPM - DDAP analytics group in discussions with senior stakeholders regarding the structure and technical components of the analytics that we are deploying.
  • Demonstrate strategic approach with an understanding of the underlying story behind the data, answering “so what” and able to translate that with ease to the PPM LT/DLT

Why you?

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Economics, Finance, Life Science, Software Engineering, Maths, Bioinformatics or related discipline
  • Extensive experience in Pharma R&D reporting
  • Experience generating modelling requirements from ad hoc and ambiguous questions.
  • Familiar with metadata management and data governance concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven development decisions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:

  • Working technical knowledge of key decision science / risk modelling methodologies
  • Experience in PowerBI, Spotfire or other visualisation tools
  • Strong leadership abilities and a self-driven, proactive approach. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
