We are looking for a Personal Assistant to help care for Bob who is based in just outside Dumfries in Glencaple. Bob is in his eighties and lives at home with his wife. Bob is a very pleasant gentleman who loves to sing and enjoys watching football supporting his team Celtic.
Bob requires support with all of his personal care, he is looking for someone to help him every morning to get washed and dressed, support at lunch time and again at bedtime.
Requirements
- It is desirable that applicants have had previous experience in adult support services or care services, however training can be sourced if the successful applicant has no previous experience in working in adult support services.
- It is important that the successful candidate/s are able to work as a team and communicate appropriate information to other PAs and Bob’s family as and when required.
- Post is subject to a satisfactory PVG.
- Successful candidate must be willing to cover holidays and sickness also.
