Who you are:

We are seeking a naturally caring and compassionate person, ideally with experience and knowledge of supporting individuals living with dementia. This is a Personal Assistant role on a part time basis for 20 hours per week, which will involve providing general day to day support at home for one of our clients. This will include assistance with daily needs such as providing companionship, administering medication, housekeeping, as well as supporting with diary management and general administrative tasks.

You will need to have a desire to help others and make a difference to peoples' lives every day, as well as good values that are in line with ours. You will also need to have a full UK driving licence and use of your own car as our client is based in a rural village in between High Wycombe and Princes Risborough.

We believe in the importance of connection with others, so we use technology to make communication quick and easy via social media, care apps and weekly newsletters, so you always know what is going on. However, we also enjoy regular face to face events and celebrations at our offices in Amersham, where our doors are open, visitors are welcome, and the kettle is always on.

We also encourage sharing of stories and experiences.

Financial Wellbeing

  • We pay competitive rate for this role of £13.00 per hour on weekdays and £15.00 on a weekend including double pay on all bank holidays across the year, reviewed annually.

  • Paid annual leave based on what you work.
  • We pay client to client mileage at 0.45p per mile.
  • We offer flexibility with working hours with zero-hour contracts but also guaranteed contracted hours where carers are able to commit, providing further security.

  • Refer a client to us and earn up to an additional £500 per referral.
  • Free enhanced DBS.
