The Opportunity…
We are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant (PA) / Project Support, and you will manage the effective and efficient provision of professional support services to the Head of the Employment Affairs Unit (EAU) and the wider team.
You will act primarily on your own initiative ensuring the smooth operation of administrative activities, effectively managing senior stakeholder requirements and with a range of opportunities to work in a support role for the diverse EAU team.

What you’ll be doing…
- Diary and itinerary management and preparation of meeting packs
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of email and outlook distribution lists for the Employment
- To liaise closely with counterparts in other new build locations and command centres to support
- Responsible for the management, organisation and filing of electronic and physical documents
- Arrange meetings and co-ordinate the booking of rooms, arrange travel, accommodation, team
- Keep in touch with the team members when they are out of the office and report issues/ take
- Respond to phone/email enquiries to/ from wide range of external parties etc.
- Prepare letters, documents, ensure reports are well presented.
- Manage the Employment Affairs Unit Team Hinkley C digital pages.
- Event management for both external and internal education, skills and employment events.
Who you are…
Previous team support experience.- Good organisational skills (flexible/organised/methodical).
- Ability to work independently and be proactive.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills notably with various levels of the organisation and
- The ability to work as an integral part of a team contributing to team success, communications,
- Flexible approach with the ability to multi-task and work on own initiative.
- Discretion - confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
- Attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage tasks through to completion.
- General administrative/secretarial knowledge producing professional work as well as ability
- Use of Outlook or similar diary/email application; Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point.
You may also have any of the following:
Previous experience in projects.- Working knowledge of website applications.
