SalaryI am currently recruiting on behalf of a medium sized housing developer based within Hampshire. They build a beautiful product and have a great reputation of building quality in the current market. They currently have 3 live sites ongoing with a further 4 in planning. They now require a Planning Manager to join the team on a permanent basis, working at their head office based just outside of Ringwood.
You will be employed as a planning manager working 5 days a week on a permanent basis. This will be 5 days a week in the office and no hybrid working is available for this role. Your day to day duties include: creating and reviewing work programmes, ensuring projects completed on time and to budget, liaising with local authorities, submitting permissions and plans, producing reports and forecasts, working with commercial closely on budgeting, planning contingency strategies, meeting with contractors/suppliers, managing other planners within the team and expecting to work office based but travelling to sites when required.
You must have previous experience as a planning manager or be within planning now looking for the next step up. You must have experience in construction or consultancy to be considered for this role. They are looking for somebody who is competent, organised, has excellent communication skills, can work well under pressure and look for solutions to ongoing planning issues and submissions.
