Pre Build Supervisor -

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following tasks:

• Working as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
• To always promote a positive and professional image of the department, by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Raising and following up on non-conformance reports, to ensure that any actions identified, pursued, and resolved.
• Work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn’s values and operational policies, procedures, and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, those around you and our neighbours and communities.
• Accurate reporting of Spine & TRR progress to the Flex Manager, Project Manager and customer.
• Attend meetings and conference calls with internal and external stakeholders
• Continuously working to improve efficiencies and processes to ensure that build is completed in the most cost-effective manner
• Ensuring that all engineers accreditations are kept up to date and relevant to job role Weekly review & capture of KPI data to manage crews’ performance
• Ensure that all dependencies are completed in line with initial deployment plan, enabling efficient delivery for the PON build teams
• To ensure TM requirements & compliance is managed across all pre-build activities as required.
• Ensuring the timely and accurate flow of information/documentation between the back office and the Subcontractor/DL resource
• Ensuring a robust auditing regime is carried out in line with MJQ Quality team
• To ensure all defects are rectified in a timely manner as per customer guidelines
• Any ad-hoc duties as requested by the line manager

To be successful in this role the Pre-Build Supervisor will:

• Hold a full driving license help for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• Have strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities.
• Enjoy a challenge, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Have a high standard of numeracy.
• Be educated to a G.C.S.E level B+ in Mathematics & English (or equivalent).
• Be computer literate.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Can prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations.
• Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
• DBS check to be completed prior to start date.
• A legal right to work in the UK.
