They will play a critical role working in close collaboration with Sourcing, Supply Chain and The Sales departments, to leverage market intelligence to make optimal pricing decisions, and improve the Salesforce effectiveness. The role holder will be pivotal within the Commercial function, by providing expert support on pricing and segmentation projects, partnering with Business Development on tactical growth initiatives and clearly articulating pricing performance to Business.
Accountabilities
- Create a high performing Pricing Team, ensuring the right skillsets are in place and promote a culture of best practice, innovation, and team development.
- Lead the development and implementation of the pricing strategy, underpinned by innovative data and analytics combined with commercially sound judgment on price decisions.
- Contribute to the business strategy as a key member of the wholesale commercial function.
- Be the project manager on key value drivers for growth, such as pricing and segmentation initiatives.
- Ensure strategic pricing rules are applied where applicable, but always looking to innovate.
