We currently have an opportunity for a Proactive Data Analyst to join our team based in Exeter. Joining us on a full-time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £26,408 - £35,878 per annum plus excellent benefits.
About the role
As our Proactive Data Analyst you will primarily focus on the identification, investigation, and triage of lead indicators in order to proactively identify failing and under performing assets. The early identification of failing and under performing assets will allow field teams to address issues as they are arising rather than when they have eventuated into an asset failure or a pollution, and therefore this role is integral to improving the reliability of the assets and in addressing pollution performance.
You will proactively monitor and intercept potential event or incidents from operational assets and ensure effective investigation and triage of condition-based data sources.
What you'll be doing:
Providing a central review using a series of data sets, such as the SPS Pump Performance Dashboard, to identify risk of site/asset failure and under performance
Proactive interrogation of appropriate corporate systems to deliver enhanced early interception and resolution of potential pollution indicators
Direct liaison with field service centres and field team members to ensure preventative and proactive actions are being taken for negating risks, such as pollutions
Developing or enhancing the current suite of data reports to provide a holistic view of standing alarms in order to monitor daily or at scheduled frequencies
Establishing alarm trends and patterns to early identify risk of asset failure or risk of pollution
Reviewing high activity alarm reports to identify nuisance alarms, configuration issues or risk of asset failure
What we are looking for:
Proven operational experience
Working knowledge of wastewater pumping stations
Full UK Drivers Licence and ability to travel around the work area using company vehicle if necessary
Proficiency in the use of MS Office and confident when using computers
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, both verbally and written, to people at all levels of the business including external stakeholders
Ability to maintain a high level of commitment to personally getting things done
Resilient with the ability to adapt to changing situations and restructure tasks and priorities as changes occur
