We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Process Engineer (Electronics) to join our client's team in Tewkesbury!
As a Process Engineer you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing and compliance aspects of operations, with a primary focus on technical documentation and process optimization. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative team consisting of a Hardware Team Lead, Technical Tester, and Production Coordinator. The team is poised for growth this year, providing ample opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing outsourced mechanical and electronics designs to ensure readiness for production.
- Preparation of documentation for declarations of conformity and reviewing compliance documentation.
- Maintaining a comprehensive library of technical documentation related to testing and regulatory updates from bodies such as LDV and UL.
- Preparation of manufacturing documentation, including Design for Manufacture (DFM) plans and support for circuit board assembly and wiring looms.
- Facilitating new product introductions by creating manufacturing documents and test support plans.
- Assisting with engineering change requests, such as firmware updates and component issues.
- Conducting peer reviews for outsourced mechanical and schematic designs, as well as DFM reviews.
Candidate Requirements:
- HND or Degree in Manufacturing or Electronics.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Design For Manufacture (DFM) knowledge.
- Proficiency in PCB assembly processes.
- Knowledge of EMC evaluation (Electromagnetic capability).
- Hands-on hardware experience is desirable, particularly in building and assembling compliance kits.
