Ideally, they are looking for someone who can:
Lead the strategic end-to-end procurement for either Rail or Highway Develop, implement and track performance/delivery of the PPP collaborating with the project commercial and delivery teamsCompile the procurement schedule for all plant, materials, equipment and subcontract requirements for the projectResponsible for mapping out the project supply base and lead strategic engagement with the supply chain across all expenditure categoriesManage procurement of key materials, plant and equipment specific to the project through robust RFQ processes, negotiation, recommendation and contract/supply chain managementEstablish performance-led, long-term supplier relationships focusing on value for money, service & product quality and continuous improvement to drive competitive advantageWho has the following:
Experience working with rail/highways projects, as well as broader Civils/Construction/InfrastructureFull competency and management skill levels in the use and management of ERP systemsComprehensive experience and delivery of P&SCM for large-scale projects £50m+Ideally MCIPS / Degree Qualified, or breadth and depth of work experience equivalent to qualificationIf interested, please apply as soon as possible
