The role
As a Product Manager, you’ll have influence across the commercial and technical faces of the business, from Customer Management to Product Development. You’ll identify problems, gaps, and developments in the market to flesh out new product opportunities for the technology roadmap. Consulting between customers and product experts will be key part of your role in order to provide optimal technical solutions.
Other responsibilities include:
- Becoming a product expert in terms of strategy, risk and resources
- Upgrading design, versatility and performance
- Collaborating with product experts for motors, inverters and thermal products
- Providing concept mechanical and electrical diagrams
- Assessing the company’s current product portfolio to identify new product and business growth opportunities
- Setting a clear and accountable vision with appropriate performance metrics
The requirements
The ideal candidate will have strong (5+ years’) experience in a similar role within the electromobility space, as well as:
- Degree educated in a relevant Engineering, Maths or Science discipline (PhD is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of developments in electrification systems and concepts
- Highly personable and able to build credible relationships
- Commercially focussed with an excellent level of business intelligence
- Ready to liaise with a diverse technical and customer base
- Innovative and relishes a problem-solving challenge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical, methodological and detail-orientated
- Confident in generating technical documentation
- Flexible and willing to travel when required
