Xcede are working with an exciting insurance company who covers the insurance market on a wide scale. From home and rental properties, to AirBnB or even antique items, their scope of insurance is on a large scale. Their advanced technology allows for customers to get an instant quote to cover all their products. Having already allowed hundreds of thousands to insure their beloved items, they're still looking to improve their services.

They have undergone digital transformation on a large scale recently, introducing the full works of agile methodology and creating two specialised delivery teams on top of the one already in place. They are looking for a Product Owner to help continue this growth and achieve their goals. Working alongside the 'Head of Agile Change', you will make sure that the delivery teams are hitting their targets, and that the agile scrum processes and road mapping are effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Making a close relationship with the Developers, DBAs and QAs, forming a strong delivery team.
• Working alongside the business and commercials teams; understanding and translating the latest requirements for new features.
• Creating and managing user stories, as well as the backlogs for requirements.
• Leading the agile sprint ceremonies.
• Communicating with wider stakeholders on the progress of the current sprints and projects.

Requirements from the candidate

• Experience working in an agile set up as a member of a delivery team.
• Strong knowledge and experience of the agile methodology and sprint ceremonies.
• Past work on web-based consumer facing products.
• Creation of clear and structured user stories for requirements.
