The IQVIA Healthcare Analytics Network (IHAN) Team has an exciting new opportunity to help address significant gaps in healthcare solutions currently in the market through the development of new analytical solutions. The team is looking for a Product Owner to aid our exciting development of population health applications.
In this role, you will:
Work closely with the IHAN Engineering Team in order to:
- Translate the product roadmap features into product requirements including features, user stories and acceptance test criteria.
- Prioritise and translate high level requirements into detailed user stories that the development team can execute against
- Monitor and adhere to success metrics, analyze data for insights, and coordinate with partner teams to communicate these to support business strategy.
Work closely with the Senior Product Manager to:
- Maintain the product vision and roadmap and support growth opportunities.
- Input into the product strategy by staying up to date on market trends and understanding the latest customer needs
- Report on and monitor product progress including outcomes of deliverables, and recommends additional improvements based on internal and customer feedback.
A typical day might include:
- Liaising with the development team in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress and address blockers
- Writing new user stories into the development backlog,
- Gathering new or more detailed requirements on existing from user groups, or other support teams (e.g. UI/UX, Design, Customer Support, Architecture etc)
- Prioritising the development backlog
- Discussing strategy with the product team and preparing for meetings with senior stakeholders
- Using your excellent communication skills to present and translate meaningful technical concepts to lay-audiences
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
- Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning
- Supporting implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute including driving IQVIA awareness & buy-in
- Overseeing multiple concurrent successful product builds and deliver using diverse capabilities and teams - analytics, software, consulting - and ensure continuous improvements of project or product delivery
- Supporting product building credibility such as through scientific publications, case studies or white papers.
About our ideal candidate
Experience:
- Substantial Product Manager or Product Owner experience, including managing intelligent solutions and working with diverse cross functional teams
- Experience managing AI/ML, or predictive analytics solutions end to end with proven delivery capability including capturing requirements, designing analysis plans, managing junior analysts / programmers / software development teams/ data scientists
- Understanding of and experience in implementing analytics product strategies.
- Qualifications in a leading product management framework a plus (e.g. Pragmatic, 280Group, SVGP)
- Good knowledge of healthcare / life science issues involving Real-World Evidence or experience with patient-level, longitudinal data.
Tech Skills:
- Knowledge of machine learning methods, NLP or computational cognition model for text comprehension, or other novel data analysis methods
- Good grasp of classical statistical methods, such as fitting regression models, inference testing and sampling
- Software engineering experience including agile methods
Bonus points for:
- Good commercial experience and familiarity with GTM channel penetration
- Good knowledge of epidemiology / biostatistics, particularly analytical issues relating to studies of treatment effectiveness, disease progression, adherence, healthcare utilization,
- Experience of a fast-paced environment
- An eye for product design
- Appreciation of programming and visualizing skills.
