Production Engineer

Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Engineer based in Bedford for a reputable professional organisation.

Salary: £32,000 per annum
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 37 hour working week

The role…

As the Production Engineer your role will involve the following important duties:

• Process of operation routed through to shop floor.
• Produce programs for CNC machines using CAM systems.
• Produce set up sheets and tooling lists.
• Examine new machine tools.
• Investigate and prepare justification for capital equipment.
• Train and assist engineers.
• Lead the introduction of new machine tools.
• Design jigs, fixtures and tooling equipment.

The experience required…

As a successful Production Engineer you will have the following:

• HNC or above in Production Engineering.
• Proven working knowledge of metal cutting, turning and milling/drilling.
• Experience working to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• CNC programming experience using CAM.
• Attention to detail.
