This is a great opportunity for someone with experience as a Production Manager/Operations Manager to join a local FMCG company that supplies businesses all over NI.

What you’ll do
- To take responsibility for the day to day running of all aspects of production and improve performance and efficiency in line with current food health and safety and environmental legislation;
- Effective people management to ensure the smooth running of the Production function.
- Review all operational costs and budgets within your remit to minimise wastage;
- Maintain and improve site quality standards, SOP’s, internal site audits etc in line with HACCP and legal requirements
- Prepare written reports and report them to the Management Board on a monthly basis
- Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
About you
- Have 3 years’ previous management / operations experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Hold a 3rd Level Qualification in Business, Operation Management or similar
- Previous experience of BRC audits
- The ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders;
- Experience of overseeing the in Intake and/or Despatch function, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
- HACCP Level 3 (Desirable)
- NEBOSH Qualification (Desirable)
- A Food Qualification or being willing to undertake necessary training (Desirable)
