Job Summary
The main purpose of the role is to develop the master production plan to satisfy customer demand and On Time Delivery targets, whilst optimising net production. Key is the ability to build positive relationships across the site teams ensuring that Quality, Delivery and Responsiveness requirements are met. The individual must be able to respond quickly to the needs of the business and embrace change through team working, flexibility and continuous improvement.

- Create and review master production schedule for customer orders, establishing a working sequence of each item using Tropos to ensure complete and on time shipment
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Understand system planning parameters per established processes. Scheduling parameters defined with the ERP system.
- Organise production according to demand and quality standards. The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.
- Monitor actual output versus the Production Plan. Identify gaps and drive solutions. Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly output forecasts.
- Lead daily production planning meetings to provide detailed updates on the output plan and managed promise dates.
- Review and update production lead times.
- Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory.
- To communicate with stakeholders when required and escalate any concerns as they arise
- WIP stock control.
- Operations Dock Plan vs Actuals.
- WIP Management.
The applicant is to be well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimise them.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- 3+ Years of manufacturing production scheduling experience.
- Experience of KPI reporting.
- Knowledge with working an ERP system.
- Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Qualified to degree level in an associated subject.
- Previous experience of working within an aerospace planning department.
- Supply Chain, planning related qualifications, including relevant training courses such as:
- APICS (Advancing Productivity, Innovation and Competitive Success);
- CIPM (Certified in Production and Planning Management);
- CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management);
- CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional).
- Team player, but able to work on own initiative, as required.
- Displays the FSG values of Integrity, Quality, Collaboration and Commitment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, at all levels.
