An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Partnerships and Events Officer to join our dynamic, innovative, and collaborative Development Team. The Partnerships and Events Officer will have responsibility of supporting the Development Team on a range of significant partnerships and fundraising events, helping to deliver excellent donor stewardship and maximise opportunities for income generation.
As Partnerships and Events Officer, you will play an integral role in promoting engagement from supporters through participation in the charity’s events calendar and volunteering programme and you will contribute to building a healthy prospect pipeline ensuring The Childhood Trust reaches its income targets. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, outcomes focused self-starter who is seeking to develop their fundraising knowledge and expertise across a range of income streams.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager with the delivery of high-quality relationship management ensuring all opportunities are maximised to grow corporate supporter base and generate income
Lead on delivering challenge events calendar, ensuring places are filled and individual fundraising targets are met
Support the Development Team with the delivery of our major fundraising events as well as smaller cultivation and stewardship events
Represent The Childhood Trust at events, visits and meetings as required, including occasional evenings and weekends when necessary
Maintain strong relationships with external events stakeholders and oversee the charity’s profile pages across a range of third-party platforms
Work closely with the Communications Manager to design engaging fundraising materials, develop creative donor communications, and perform regular updates to relevant charity webpages
Liase closely and collaborate with the Volunteering Programmes team to promote corporate volunteering opportunities and ensure maximum engagement from supporters
Support the creation of high-quality reports, proposals and presentations that communicate the impact of our work and partnerships
Research and identify new opportunities, maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospects across the fundraising team
Oversee the partnerships inbox, responding and signposting enquiries to the relevant team member in a timely and professional manner
Ensure the CRM database is kept up to date and accurate
Help to ensure the charity complies with the fundraising regulator code of practice and fundraising compliance legislation.
Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of The Trust’s strategic goals
Support the success of the team with other duties as required.
