Programmes Administrative Assistant
Department: Engineering & Design - Faculty Office
Salary: Starting from £23,144, rising to £24,533. A supplement is applied to those at Grade 4 spine point 12 to bring their pay up to the equivalent of spine point 13

About the role:
You will provide administrative support for taught programmes in the Faculty, including:
- Assessment processes
- Maintaining student records
- Responding to enquiries from students
- Supporting director(s) of studies
- Contributing to recruitment activities
Under the guidance of the Taught Programmes Manager(s) and Programmes Officer(s), you will support the Programmes Administrators, working within common systems and processes standardised on best practice, adhering to University regulations and procedures, and ensuring services are efficient, effective and adapt to changing circumstances.
You will also work closely with academic staff, ensuring co-operation and compliance with milestones in the academic year, and you will have regular communication with students and potential applicants.
We are currently operating a hybrid work model which is a combination of both campus and home working (minimum 3 days a week on campus to include Wednesdays). During the peak workload periods, you will be required to work on campus every day (Monday – Friday).

This is a full-time position, however the department could consider a part time arrangement working a minimum of 0.8 FTE.
