We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our innovative alliance with Anglian Water (Integrated Maintenance and Repair Water Recycling Alliance).
IMR WRA provide the best water recycling, by maintaining existing assets and undertaking new projects, that safeguard future water recycling asset health.
Within the Alliance’s remit is planned and emergency sewer works, rising mains and SMART technology installation, as well as maintenance and repair.
The Role
Working closely with the Programme Coordinator you’ll be supporting the ‘Risk identified Sewer Cleaning’ (RISC) and associated proactive jetting and CCTV projects.
This is a busy and varied role with lots of collaboration, ensuring operational teams deliver the programme of activities efficiently and safely, with as little disruption to customers and the general public as possible.
Here are some of the activities, that you’ll get involved in…
- Ensure planned works are organised efficiently and with safety at the forefront, whilst meeting regulatory requirements and avoiding adverse effects on downstream treatment processes.
- Working on behalf of the “asset owner for sewers”, collaborate and support colleagues to achieve effective operations post intervention.
- Proactively inform customers about programmed works and respond to any concerns, ensuring complaints are handled with care and professionalism.
- Through considered risk analysis, organise operations to achieve great results and minimise costs, thus outperforming project timelines, goals and budgets.

Previous experience of coordinating and organising work programmes/schedules.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook) and ideally experience of using a Work Scheduling system.
An understanding of GNet Mapping system would be appreciated.
