Project Director Public Health

Blueprint recruitment is looking to speak with passionate Public HealthProject Directors to join a respected Management Consultancy on a permanent basis. This position requires the successful candidate to be based at either their London, Croydon, Brighton or Cambridge offices to play a key role in the winning and execution of various exciting projects.

Our client is expanding the multi-disciplinary team due to an increasing demand for their excellent services in a range of sectors including, Healthcare, Commercial, Transportation, Defence, Education and Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working in all areas of an asset lifecycle, including project formation, design, construction, and operations
• Taking opportunities when they arise, for the Consultancy to grow in London, Nationally and Globally
• Driving quality and technical excellence
• Reducing any possible commercial risks to the business
• Directing and managing major project delivery
• The technical delivery of projects
• Responsible for staff recruitment and training
• Support projects and growth in North America

Key Requirements:

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams including MEP, structures, civils and Architecture
• Travelling in the UK and overseas for short periods as the business needs require
• Willingness to act as a Project Principal and remain hands on while being an example to others.
• Candidates should have Public Health Engineering as their core discipline
• Experience in MEP services within the built environment
• Maintain agreed project profit levels
• Past experience being responsible for the winning and delivery of major projects
• Candidates should ideally be Chartered or working towards chartership
• Candidates should have demonstrable experience of working with and leading Architect and civil engineering disciplines on projects
• Knowledge of the local London market is beneficial
• Experience in bidding leadership both responding to client tender requirements and corporate governance requirements
• Providing clients with efficient Design solutions
• Recognised technically competency in MEP engineering
• An accomplished Design Engineer
